Roger Clark recently revealed that he spent nearly five years secretly working on Red Dead Redemption 2, and the project stayed hidden for so long that some of his own friends genuinely believed he was making the whole thing up. Rockstar’s extreme secrecy meant he couldn’t explain what he was actually doing.
According to Clark, he could only tell people that he had a role in a “really cool game” he wasn’t allowed to talk about. As years passed with no proof or announcements, some friends reportedly started assuming he was unemployed and using the mysterious project as an excuse.
That secret role eventually turned out to be Arthur Morgan — one of the most iconic performances in gaming history. Looking back now, it’s wild to think one of gaming’s greatest characters was created while people thought the actor didn’t even have a real job. 🤠🔥
