An Assassin’s Creed 1 remake could be next after Black Flag 👀
With Black Flag Resynced on the way, new leaks suggest Ubisoft might already be planning what comes next… and it could be where it all started
🎯 what’s being said:
• multiple insiders claim another AC remake is in development
• early reports point specifically to Assassin’s Creed 1
• Ubisoft may be revisiting older titles following Black Flag
🧠 why it makes sense:
• AC1 introduced Desmond Miles and kicked off the entire series
• it’s one of the most iconic entries, but also the most outdated gameplay-wise
• a full remake could completely modernise it
📅 possible timing:
• the game’s 20th anniversary is in November 2027
• could line up perfectly for a reveal or release
⚠️ worth noting:
this is still based on leaks — nothing officially confirmed yet
