Compulsion Games announced on its official X account that South of Midnight will launch for PlayStation 5 on March 31. The third-person action-adventure game first released for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store on April 8, 2025, and a Nintendo Switch 2 version is also planned for this spring.
Set in a dark Southern Gothic world inspired by American folklore, the game follows Hazel, who becomes a magical “Weaver” after a hurricane devastates her hometown. With her new powers, she must confront dangerous creatures and uncover the secrets of her family’s past while trying to save her home.
The “Weaver’s Edition” of the game also includes a music video titled “Songs & Tales of South of Midnight.”
